The 10 Favorite All You Can Eat Restaurants in America, According to Boomers

All-you-can-eat restaurants, also known as buffets, have been a big deal in the U.S. since the first one opened in the 1940s. Many Millennials and Gen Xers grew up visiting buffets in the 80s and 90s, but this type of restaurant is especially popular among Baby Boomers.

Many formerly popular American buffets, such as Old Country Buffet and HomeTown Buffet, have closed down. All-you-can-eat restaurants aren’t as popular as they used to be for numerous reasons and during the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the ones that were already struggling closed down for good.

Restaurants like CiCi’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, and Golden Corral make the top of the list of the favorite all-you-can-eat restaurants in America, according to Boomers. To give you an idea of which buffets are the most popular, check out the 10 top buffets in America for Boomers below.
