Ingredients
Units Scale
- 2 (3lb) racks of trimmed, pork spare ribs
- 8 ounces of Traeger BBQ sauce of your choice
- 1 cup of cider, beer, or apple juice
- 3 tablespoons of Traeger pork and poultry rub
- Apple pellets
Instructions
- First, set the Traeger to 250℉ close the lid, and preheat for 15 minutes.
- Remove any membrane from the back of the ribs. Season both sides with Traeger pork and poultry rub.
- Next, place the probe in the middle of the rack of ribs. Put the ribs bone-side down on the grid, close the lid, and cook for 3-4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 203℉. Add the cider, beer, or apple juice to a spray bottle, and spray the ribs after an hour and every hour thereafter.
- Then brush both sides of the ribs with Traeger BBQ sauce, return to the grill, and cook for another 30-60 minutes until the sauce has set.
