On June 6, 2023, the Forecaster reported that three Greely High seniors had created a curriculum for a climate change course that they hoped their alma mater, and other schools in Maine, would use. The curriculum begins with a study on indigenous perspectives on the Earth and how students can think differently about their relationship with nature. From there, the curriculum covers five other units on climate change. Two teachers at Greely High have already expressed interest in using the curriculum.
