Looking for a nice new dinner recipe to try? This recipe for sweet beans and noodles is a fantastic way to feed your family for an evening. It doesn't require a lot of ingredients, so you can serve dinner to your family without having to stretch your wallet.
We'll be using linguine pasta here, along with edamame. Other ingredients include carrot, alfredo sauce, and rosemary. You might wonder how easy it is to get a kid, especially a picky one, to eat this considering it has carrot and edamame in it.
The truth is, given that these ingredients will be mixed in with pasta and alfredo sauce it won't be too hard. Your children may not even notice that there are any healthy foods in this dish at all! Often, disguising veggies and similar foods is the best way to get kids to eat them.
Buying pre-shredded carrot is the way to go, since it cuts down on the amount of work needed for this recipe. If you can't find pre-shredded carrot, you'll need to buy whole carrots and shred them yourself. Make sure you buy enough carrots to provide you with one cup of shredded carrot.
Discard any off-colored or bad bits. For the rosemary, fresh snipped is the best. Many families grow their own herbs these days, but if you don't many stores carry fresh rosemary. If you're unable to find it or fit it into your budget, find the closest comparable rosemary and use that instead.
