Shrimp is a great addition to a family's diet. It's high in protein, but low in calories and fat. It's also packed with other important nutrients. Shrimp is generally very accessible, either fresh or frozen. Some shrimp recipes are quite complicated; if you want a way to make shrimp that's simple and easy, this is it.
This slow cooker shrimp recipe is delicious and easy to make. What more can you ask for? You'll only need a handful of ingredients for this recipe, including onion, cream of mushroom soup, curry powder, and sour cream. Your shrimp will need to be cooked ahead of time, but this is something that can be done the night before.
Once all of the required ingredients are in the slow cooker, this recipe will cook on low for five to six hours. Toughness isn't a concern with shrimp like it is with some cuts of meat, so it doesn't need to cook as long in the slow cooker.
The sour cream will be left out of the cooking process, being stirred in at the end. Once this step is done, your curried shrimp will be ready to serve! We recommend serving it over a bed of white rice. This will make for a complete meal that your whole family will love!
