Pasta with Fresh Tomatoes and Basil
Ingredients:
2 large fresh tomatoes, chopped
2 tablespoons snipped fresh basil, or 2 teaspoons dried basil
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ teaspoon pepper
4 ounces dry bow tie, or other, pasta cooked and drained
Additional fresh basil (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine the tomatoes, basil, garlic, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
2. Set aside at room temperature for several hours.
3. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
4. Garnish with additional basil if you wish.
