Looking for a delightful recipe that won't take a lot of effort to make? This orange burgundy chicken is going to taste like it took a lot more effort than it did. It's the crock pot that makes this recipe so easy, taking a lot of the weight off of your shoulders.
In addition to the chicken, you'll want to get orange marmalade, orange juice, dry red wine, cornstarch, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. For a side dish, we recommend serving mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes are a classic side that everyone loves.
Once the ingredients are in your slow cooker, you'll need to cook them for six to eight hours. This is fairly standard for crock pot recipes that include meat. You need to give the meat adequate time to tenderize, which takes a while. Do something else productive with the extra time you have on your hands!
