So, it’s no wonder why people are so excited that more Whataburger locations are on the way.

We have a list of 30+ cities and towns that will have their own Whataburger restaurant to call home. Some of these restaurants opened just recently, others are on the way. Take a look at the list of states and see if your neighborhood will be graced with a Whataburger.

What is Whataburger?

You may be wondering why there’s so much excitement about the idea of more Whataburger locations. If so, let us fill you in. This fantastic burger restaurant has been around since 1950, and it was started by a man who had a dream of making the best burgers for every customer, every time. Even today, the burgers are made to order, so you get a fresh meal every time.

Whataburger is Always There for You

When the burgers are that good, people are going to want to eat them all the time. Luckily, people can order whenever they get a craving. That’s because Whataburger is one of the few chain restaurants that is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

The Amazing Whataburger Menu

The best thing about Whataburger is its expansive menu. They have many popular burgers, including one with three patties, another with jalapeños and cheese, and one loaded with avocado. The chain also sells various chicken sandwiches, salads, fries, sides, and desserts. They also have a great kid’s menu. Whataburger also has a great breakfast menu that includes tasty goodies, such as a jalapeño cheddar biscuit, a honey butter chicken biscuit, and a pancake dish.

Where are Whataburger Restaurants Now?

Currently, there are more than 900 Whataburger restaurants across the country. The restaurants are in 14 states, spanning from Florida to Arizona. The locations hire more than 50,000 employees. All of the locations look the same, with their iconic orange-and-white roofs. The chain is rapidly expanding, so if you don’t see one of the restaurants near you now, chances are good that there will be one in your town in the future.

Arizona

The list of new and upcoming Whataburger locations starts in Arizona. A new restaurant was added in 2024 in the downtown area near other popular restaurants, including a McDonald’s and Jack in the Box restaurant. The location is already doing well, and food lovers are remembering why they loved this franchise so much in the first place. You can find the restaurant at 1957 N. Country Club Drive in Mesa.

Arkansas

The great state of Arkansas recently received another Whataburger location. This time, it’s in Clarksville. This is the first Whataburger in that town. It opened in 2024. It’s at 1207 S. Rogers St. Clarksville is a wonderful town with a fairly large population of close to 10,000. Many of them have likely found their new favorite restaurant.

Colorado

Whataburger has not been a stranger to Colorado, with several locations already in existence, and they’re coming back for more. In 2024, the company opened a new restaurant at 17889 Fat Tire Drive in the town of Monument. In 2025, the company will open a new location at 2850 W. Pueblo Blvd in Pueblo.

Florida

Georgia

More Whataburger locations are on the way to The Peach State. One of the newest restaurants is located at 2955 Cobb Parkway, Suite 910 in Atlanta. More Coming to Georgia

Whataburger management has stated that they plan to have at least 50 restaurants in Georgia by the end of 2030. Over the next couple of years, they are planning 10 more locations. If the plan is accurate, the new restaurants will be in the towns of Alpharetta, Duluth, Roswell, Grayson, Oakwood, Dahlonega, Fayetteville, Conyers, Sharpsburg, and Carrollton.

Mississippi

At this point in time, the state of Mississippi is home to 13 Whataburger locations. The newest restaurant found a home in Madison at 1863 Main Street. Nevada

Citizens of Nevada and the many tourists who visit the Las Vegas Strip are in for a bit of a surprise, especially if they love Whataburger. The new restaurant is located at 3752 S. Las Vegas Blvd. This is a much bolder restaurant than the typical Whataburger. This location is two stories. On the second floor, you can get Dr. Pepper shakes!
