10 Lucky Cities and Towns Getting More In-N-Out Burger Locations

If you have any friends on the West Coast, ask them which fast food restaurant is their favorite. Odds are that at least a handful of them will mention In-N-Out Burger. The restaurant is like a religion to them out there. There’s a reason for it. The company has become famous for making the tastiest and freshest food, and customers always come back for more. It has gotten to the point that even people who have never been to a restaurant know how good it is. So, the question always comes up. “When will my town get one of those restaurants?” We have good news for you. New In-N-Out Burger locations have been announced.

Today, we’re going to tell you about 10 new proposed and upcoming In-N-Out restaurants that may be coming to a town near you. The company has been expanding a lot more in recent years, so if your location is not on this list yet, it could be soon.

What is In-N-Out Burger?

The first question you’re probably wondering is, what is this restaurant, and why are people so obsessed with learning about the new In-N-Out Burger locations? Well, it’s a famous burger restaurant that started in California in 1948. They were an innovator of many things we know and use today, including the outdoor speaker that we use to order from our car. 

They’re Famous For A Limited Menu

What sets In-N-Out Burger apart from the others? One aspect is their limited menu. Technically, they have three items on their menu. A single hamburger, a single cheeseburger, and a burger with two patties, with or without cheese. There is also a “secret menu” that you can look up online to add more to your burger or mix things up a bit. People love to go there time after time to try something new.

The Food is Fresh

The other thing that sets In-N-Out Burger apart from the rest is that they make their food fresh. Other restaurants may claim to make fresh food, but at In-N-Out Burger, you can see them make your meal right there in front of you. They’ll chop the potatoes and cook your burger right there. Then, when it gets on your plate, it’s perfect. Everything there is perfectly seasoned. That’s why you’ll often see a line of cars waiting at an In-N-Out restaurant at any given hour.

Where Are In-N-Out Burger Locations Now?

Currently, there are over 390 In-N-Out Burger locations in the United States. Note that this is not a nationwide chain. The chain is mostly on the West Coast, with 280+ locations in California, 43 locations in Texas, 38 locations in Arizona, and countless other restaurants in other states, including Nevada. 

Why Aren’t There More In-N-Out Locations?

You may be wondering to yourself, if In-N-Out is considered one of the best fast-food restaurants of all time, why aren’t restaurants as common as McDonald’s or Burger King? Here’s the answer: As a rule, In-N-Out has yet to open any restaurants east of the Mississippi because they don’t have any distribution centers on that side of the country. Since they only want to use fresh ingredients, the owners of In-N-Out don’t want to require trucks to drive too far to deliver items to their stores. However, if you visit the Western United States, you’re always invited to come in for a meal.

New In-N-Out Location: Anaheim, California

The first of the newly announced In-N-Out Burger locations will be in Anaheim, California. This new location will be opening in 2025. It’s not open yet, but you’ll soon find it at 540 N. Euclid Street in Anaheim. The restaurant will undoubtedly be known for its freshest food and great service. Just be warned that, like any grand opening, you may want to get there early to avoid the long lines of excited patrons.

New In-N-Out Location: Carson, California

The fine people of Carson, California will have an In-N-Out Burger all to themselves in 2025. It will be located at 20512 Avalon Blvd. The owners promise that this will be another high-quality restaurant with the freshest fries and burgers. New In-N-Out: Nampa, Idaho

A few years ago, In-N-Burger opened its first location in the state of Idaho. They seem to have had a bit of success, so they’re opening more locations as the years go by. This new restaurant will be at 16225 N. Marketplace Dr. in Tampa, and you’ll be able to visit it when the doors open this year. New In-N-Out: South Salt Lake, UT

There are currently several In-N-Out Burger locations in Utah, and they’re about to get a new one. This one will be located in the bustling area of South Salt Lake. You’ll be able to find it at 21 E. 2100 South. Call them at 1-800-786-1000 if you want to get a head start. Go there for the double-double and stay for the fries.

New In-N-Out: Sylmar, CA

Yet another fabulous In-N-Out Burger restaurant will be hitting a major city in California. This time, it is located at 13864 Foothill Blvd, CA. 91342. It’s a good thing, too. The restaurants in CA are some of the most crowded locations in existence. It’s not uncommon to drive past a restaurant and see a line of cars around the block. That place is that good.

New Location: Las Vegas

Despite being primarily a California restaurant, the In-N-Out company has some of its busiest locations in Sin City. According to the company, they’ll be opening a new location on the Las Vegas Strip in 2026. They say it will be one of the largest restaurants ever. It’s no joke. Everything in Vegas is bigger and better.

In-N-Out in New Mexico

As of a couple of years ago, there were no plans to expand In-N-Out to New Mexico, but that could be changing very soon. According to the company’s owner, Lynsi Snyder, there will likely be a new restaurant in the “Land of Enchantment” in 2027. There aren’t any details yet, but it’s going to be a big event.

In-N-Out in Washington

There has also been some speculation that a new In-N-Out restaurant would be opening in Washington. Southern Washington, to be exact. The idea was that the location would be open by 2025. Only time will tell. At this moment, there are no concrete plans. Still, it’s not far-fetched to imagine a location opening in the area.

Coming to Portland?

It was recently speculated that there will be a new In-N-Out restaurant headed to Portland. The proposed location may be near the Portland International Airport. It seems like the perfect location. Travelers who have never been to the city before could stop in before or after their flight and see what all the fuss is about.

Newer In-N-Out Cypress

One of the newest In-N-Out Burger locations in the fine state of Texas was added in the city of Cypress. The location has been a big hit, and the food there is as fresh and delicious as anywhere else. Best of all, there’s not a long line like at many other places, so you can get your flavor fix right away.
