When it comes to pizza places, we have an array of options, from Pizza Hut to LaRosa’s to smaller pizzerias that delight locals everywhere. Domino’s happens to be one of the top-grossing pizza places in the United States. Here customers can enjoy specialty pizzas like like the Meatzza or Pacific Veggie. Additionally, you can grab a bowl of pasta or loaded tots to eat along with your favorite pizza. However, one quick look at their menu shows that it is missing several delicious dishes. Calzones

The first menu item that comes to mind that Dominoes is missing happens to be the calzone. If you have never had a calzone, let me explain the deliciousness to you. Take the toppings you would normally have on a pizza like cheese, green olives, pepperoni, or really anything you like. Then put it on top of a thick dough, fold it in half like a crescent, and cook in the oven. This is the delicious calzone.

Why it Should be on the Menu

Calzones should be on the menu for those who love pizza but want something a little different. The loaded ingredients stuffed into a thick breading give an essence of pizza, but it is different enough for those who may be tired of the same ol’ pizza every week.

Strombolis

Strombolis are very similar to calzones. Like the calzone, it is dough stuffed with pizza ingredients. However, instead of just folding the dough over, it is rolled up like a cylinder.

Strombolis are similar enough to pizza, but different enough to give your taste buds a different experience. It is easier to slice the stromboli into small pieces. Additionally, the dough being wrapped around all the ingredients makes it easier to dip into your favorite sauces.

Traditional Bread Sticks with Cheese

It’s true, Domino’s does have stuffed cheesy bread. If you love the stuffed cheesy bread, then this is a great option. However, they are missing the traditional cheese bread sticks. The cheese sticks that are just regular breadsticks, with the cheese melted on top, remember those?

Traditional cheese sticks are somewhat nostalgic for some. They are simple enough to dip into your favorite sauce. There is no pulling the sticks apart and getting your fingers covered in oil. Basically, they are simple, and sometimes simple really is the best way to go.

Domino’s should add mac n cheese to their menu asap and for several reasons. It makes the perfect side dish, especially for those who would like something other than pizza. Additionally, any parent knows that it can be like pulling teeth to get their child to try anything. Yet, mac n cheese continues to be a kid’s favorite food for man. So, instead of spending a ton of money on food that our kids aren’t going to eat anyway, being able to grab a small side of mac n cheese to make them happy as well can do wonders for family pizza night.

Chips

Yes, I said chips. Sure, you can grab the potato chips from out of your cabinet but is it the same? Many Redditors say that chips are the ultimate side dish to have with pizza, though it’s hard to put a finger on why exactly.

Why it Should be on the Menu

Chips should be on the menu simply because they make an excellent side for pizza. While dominoes do have pasta, tots, and breadsticks, having those together can be heavy on your stomach. Sometimes you need a side that isn’t also bread, especially since you are getting that dough with your pizza.

Fries

Fries are another classic for many types of restaurants. They go well with hamburgers and pizza. Not to mention they can come in so many different forms.

Fries are those versatile foods that really should be added to any pizza place’s menu. The reason is quite simple and the same as chips. Sometimes customers don’t want breadsticks or another dough-filled side to eat along with an already filling entree.

Spaghetti

Spaghetti is a simple Italian dish that goes amazingly as a substitute for pizza. You can get it with meatballs, just noodles, a lot of sauce, or a little sauce. This dish has rightfully earned its way as one of the top-tier simple dishes. In this case, simplicity isn’t a bad thing.

Why it Should be on the Menu

Have you ever been invited out for pizza just to realize that you aren’t really in the mood for it? In this case, spaghetti offers customers a perfect substitute for those nights when you are just feeling something else for dinner.

Dominoes is loved by many for plenty of reasons. It’s quick and easy on the pocketbook, and they offer a wide range of specialty and normal pizzas.
