Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Whisk together minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, and thyme in a small bowl.
  4. Pour the lemon garlic mixture over the cod fillets, making sure they are evenly coated.
  5. Place lemon slices on top of each fillet for added flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
