College towns are often more spirited than other campuses, springing to life with sporting events, restaurants, nightlife, and more.

If this is something you enjoyed, and would like to recapture the vibe, you can discover affordable housing in these quaint college towns for under $88k.

To determine which quaint college towns offer most affordable housing, Moms Who Think reviewed five-year data on median household value and median household income from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey.

Cities, towns, and Census-designated places were ranked based on the ratio of median home value to median household income. Only places with at least 10,000 residents where at least 15% of the population is enrolled in college or graduate school were considered.
