The United States has an incredible array of towns and cities for everyone. If you love mountains, the seacoast, historical towns, areas near wineries, big city living, it's can all be found--for the right price. But if you're a craft beer aficionado who prefers spending your afternoons sipping locally sourced, small batch beer, you're luck because there are plenty of affordable craft brewery towns in the U.S.

Craft beer and the many breweries that produce them, have popped up in towns and cities across the United States. These breweries tend to flourish in economically vibrant areas where disposable income and strong community ties help small businesses develop and thrive. Many of the same conditions also enable affordable real estate, which has led to a diverse selection of towns where affordable homes are within walking distance of many independently owned craft breweries. If it's always been your dream to live in a craft brewery town, then you're in luck because these craft brewery towns have homes that are affordable.

To determine the craft brewery towns with homes under $123,100, Moms Who Think reviewed five-year data on median household value and median household income from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey. Cities, towns, and villages were ranked based on the ratio of median home value to median household income.

Only places with at least 1,000 residents with at least four breweries were considered. Data on breweries is from the 2022 County Business Patterns and was aggregated from zip codes to counties using boundary definitions from the Census Bureau.
