Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of Pork Shoulder
  • 2 tbsp of Salt
  • 2 tbsp of Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp of Paprika
  • 1 tbsp of Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp of Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp of Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup of Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar to create a dry rub.
  2. Rub the mixture all over the pork shoulder, covering it completely.
  3. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and pour the barbecue sauce over it.
  4. Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  6. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix it with the remaining barbecue sauce.
  7. Cook for an additional 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  8. Serve the pulled pork on buns with your favorite toppings.
