If you've been on TikTok at all, you've likely come across a number of slow cooker recipes that use cream cheese. It's so common that it's become somewhat of a joke at this point that every slow cooker recipe needs to have cream cheese in it! We're adding to the trend with our own slow cooker recipe with cream cheese.
This particular recipe is for beef stroganoff. You'll be using cubed beef stew meat in this recipe. This type of meat works great in a slow cooker, since it will tenderize over time. You don't want a tough cut of meat on your table, which is why the slow cooker is such a great aid.
In addition to the cream cheese, you'll need cream of mushroom soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, egg noodles, and garlic salt. Optionally, you can include sour cream as well. None of these ingredients are hard to come by, and they won't cost you a fortune to acquire.
You'll need a five- or six-quart slow cooker for this recipe. It will take eight hours to cook, making it the perfect recipe to leave cooking overnight or while you're at work. Imagine how nice it will be when you come home to your house smelling like beef stroganoff! You'll add the cream cheese and the pasta at the end. Enjoy!
