A BBQ favorite, this baked beans recipe is always a welcome addition. Using a can of beans as a base and then adding a few ingredients take the canned beans from basic to delicious.
The distinctive sharp taste of the mustard, ranging from sweet to spicy, contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the brown sugar. Brown sugar is sucrose sugar that contains molasses, the dark having a higher content than the light, adding to its flavor.
Add America's favorite condiment (is it ketchup or catsup?) and the enticingly aromatic bacon and you've got a great side dish.
