This asparagus and cheese recipe is one of those special recipes that's easy, affordable, and delicious.
You'll use a slow cooker in this recipe to make it as easy as possible. All you need to do prior to turning the crock pot on is combine all of the ingredients together. Then, put them in the slow cooker, set it to high, and cook for three to three and a half hours. Done!

Asparagus and Cheese
Ingredients:
1½ pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
2 cups crushed saltine crackers
1 can (10¾ ounces) condensed cream of asparagus soup
1 can (10¾ ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
⅔ cup slivered almonds
4 ounces American cheese, cut into cubes
1 egg
Directions:
1. Combine asparagus, crackers, soups, almonds, cheese and egg in large bowl; stir well. Pour into slow cooker. Cover; cook on high for 3 to 3½ hours or until done.
