Big sisters are school experts! I love that they told him every good thing there is to know about school and how much they loved kindergarten. They were there helping him get his backpack at the end of the day. He said they waved to him when the passed in the hall. These girls sure made me a proud mama today.

When it comes to going back to school, children can be stressed about all sorts of different things. From parting with mom and dad, to making new friends, to potential academic challenges, there are a lot of potential obstacles that your child can be worried about.

Ugarte noted that parents should seek help as soon as possible if their child is experiencing a significant problem. If their stress over school is preventing them from performing daily tasks or otherwise living a normal and happy life, it is time to get help. There's no shame in needing to get some counseling for your child; in fact, it can help set them up for greater success in the future.
