Different Chip Varieties to Try in Recipes

You don't have to use just plain potato chips in your recipes! You can use all kinds of different chips in a variety of dishes. Doritos, different flavors of Lays, and Pringles are just a few ideas. Really, the sky is the limit when it comes to coming up with different recipes that use potato chips.

One popular dish that you can try different potato chip varieties with is macaroni and cheese. Many people will layer the top of baked mac and cheese with crushed chips. This, at bare minimum, gives the dish an extra crunch that is quite delightful.

If you're using a chip variety with its own flavor, the addition of it to mac and cheese will bring more flavor into the overall dish. For example, if you choose a spicy chip, your mac and cheese goes from simply savory to savory and spicy. Throw in some shredded chicken and you have a dish that resembles buffalo mac and cheese.

Grab a party-sized bag of whatever chips you choose to use, so that you can snack on them in addition to using them for cooking. It's always great to have some chips around, especially if you'll be hosting an event. Chips are often demonized by the health foods industry, but in moderation they're perfectly fine for you.
