7 Decadent Latte Recipes
Lattes are an amazingly decadent way to drink coffee, but they can drain your wallet if you buy them from coffee shops. Fortunately with easily available drink syrups, you can make your own coffee shop lattes at home for a fraction of the price of big name coffee places.
We used DaVinci Syrups because we've used them in protein drinks to give them flavor with great success. They also tend to be less expensive than some of the other brands. We bought ours from netrition.com because they have a ton of flavors, but amazon also sells them. The recipes below are the favorites in our house.
Cinnamon Dutch Apple Pie Latte
INGREDIENTS:
0.25 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Cinnamon Syrup (1 pump)
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Apple Syrup (4 pumps)
2 shots Espresso
11 fluid ounces Steamed Milk
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour syrups into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots.
2. Swirl to mix. Pour in steamed milk. Makes 16 fluid ounces.
Cafe Mocha
INGREDIENTS::
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Chocolate Sauce (1 pump) 2 shots Espresso 11 fluid ounces Steamed Milk
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour sauce into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots.
2. Swirl to mix and pour in steamed milk. Top with whipped cream. Makes 16 fluid ounce(s)
Pumpkin Pie Latte
INGREDIENTS::
0.5 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Vanilla Syrup (2 pumps)
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Pumpkin Pie Sauce (1 pump)
2 shots Espresso
11 fluid ounces Steamed Milk
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour syrup and sauce into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots.
2. Swirl to mix and pour in steamed milk. Makes 16 fluid ounces.
Candy Cane White Chocolate Latte
INGREDIENTS::
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – White Chocolate Sauce (1 pump)
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Peppermint Syrup (4 pumps)
2 shots Espresso
11 fluid ounces Steamed Milk
Whipped cream
Candy cane for swirling
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour syrup into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots and swirl to mix.
2. Pour in steamed milk, top with whipped cream and candy cane pieces. Makes 16 fluid ounces.
Gingerbread Latte
INGREDIENTS::
1.25 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Gingerbread Syrup (5 pumps)
2 shots Espresso
11 fluid ounces Steamed Milk
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour syrup into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots and swirl to mix.
2. Pour in steamed milk. Makes 16 fluid ounces.
White Chocolate Banana Iced Latte
INGREDIENTS::
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Banana Syrup (4 pumps)
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – White Chocolate Sauce (1 pump)
2 shots Espresso
5 fluid ounces Milk
Cupful of Ice
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour syrups & sauce into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots.
2. Pour in milk and then add ice. Makes 16 fluid ounces.
Toffee Cream Latte
INGREDIENTS:
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic Toasted Marshmallow Syrup (4 pumps)
1 oz. Davinci Gourmet ® – Classic English Toffee Syrup (4 pumps)
2 shots Espresso
11 fluid ounces Steamed Milk
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour syrups into a cup, add freshly pulled espresso shots.
2. Swirl to mix and pour in steamed milk. Makes 16 fluid ounces.
