Have you ever used cola in a dinner recipe before? If you haven't, welcome to a surprise ingredient that can make so many dinners taste a whole lot better. Cola isn't just for drinking anymore! If you have cooked with cola before, this recipe is going to be a great hit with you and your family.
You won't need to buy many ingredients for this recipe. In addition to the Coke and beef roast, you'll need chili sauce, minced onion, onion powder, and salt. Many cooks likely already have onion powder and salt in their kitchen.
Since this roast cooks in the crock pot, you can look at this recipe knowing two things. One, the meat will end up nice and tender. That's the great thing about letting it cook slowly and at a low temperature. Two, you won't have to put too much effort into its preparation.
Serve this roast with some potatoes for a classic dinner your family will love. Or, serve some vegetables for extra vitamins and minerals. Carrots are a great choice, as is squash and asparagus. Whichever side you pick, make sure it goes well with this excellent roast!
